From Mathisfun! Find all the factors of a number or use their Prime Factorisation Tool.
Use a Factor Tree (NLVM) to find the prime factorisation.

Note that pressing random will generate a pair of random numbers or you can choose to enter your own numbers at the bottom of the screen together with a choice of what is displayed (check any of the boxes required and press ‘recalculate).

To understand how you can calculate these using prime factors use the NVLM manipulative and choose two as the number of trees at the bottom of the screen. Check ‘User’ to enter your own problem.

Note GCF is the highest common factor (greatest common factor is the US)

The lowest common multiple has been calculated by multiplying 5×2×3×7.
