Fractions

Use this applet from Ron Barrow’s Waldomaths on fractions to study examples and learn how to handle fractions.
The fractions A and B can be changed and you can then add, subtract, multiply or divide the two fractions.

  1. Wow, that is a rather novel way of looking at that set of equations and one that I am rather partial to. The equations are at a constructive level; not too easy or too hard, just at the challenging stage. It has really helped me broaden my knowledge of fractions. Thank you to the teachers who set it up. Also, on a rather untwisted note, I love the profile pics of symmetrical patterns, as they are pretty, yet correspond to the mathematics point of view.
